Your responsibilities

Main responsibilities: Administer and coordinate research support and research projects over their lifecycle. Support research communication (Website, Science Report, Pure Portal).

Detailed description of responsibilities:

  • Research and knowledge transfer support in the project submission phase and if needed also for project-related reporting.
  • Supporting researchers in meeting the requirements published in the MU project guidelines during the whole project life cycle.
  • Composing and administering an institution wide repository of reference projects, short descriptions of the university, the schools and research centers, etc.
  • Supporting researchers in obtaining general information about MU required by funders (e.g. Company register, year-end report, financial capability documents etc.).
  • Managing the funders portals (especially the funding and tender’s portal of the EC).
  • Supporting library in keeping Pure up-to-date.
  • Coordination and alignment of project related issues with the finance department.
  • Monitoring of knowledge transfer hours (defined by the University) in cooperation with the Vice President for Research.
  • Representing MU in the in internal and external working groups related to research Support.               
  • Preparing reports and analysis (internal as well as external ones) for the University Board.
 

 

Your profile
  • University degree
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Profound knowledge of international, EU and Austrian funding schemes
  • Excellent command of English and German
  • MS Office and especially spreadsheet applications
  • Teamwork experience
  • Competence in communicating with funding bodies, academics, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills as well as team spirit

  • A gross monthly salary of EUR 3,200.00 (full-time basis remuneration) with additional remuneration based on qualifications and experience. Annual gross salary for the full time (40 h/w) working schedule amounts to 44.800,00 EUR. Annual gross salary on a pro rata basis for 20 h/w would be EUR 22,400.00 and for 30 h/w EUR 33,600.00 gross.
