The Student Services Center (SSC) at Modul University Vienna, VIGS Institute (Vienna Institute for Global Studies) is looking for:
Your responsibilities
  • Plan and execute student-centered events, scholarship programs, and professional development initiatives.
  • Manage communication channels (e.g., newsletters, social media) to engage students, scholarship recipients, and corporate partners effectively.
  • Create visually appealing materials aligned with branding standards and support scholarship recipients through mentoring and event coordination.
  • Oversee scholarship program administration, maintain and expand partner and alumni databases, and foster stakeholder relationships to enhance student satisfaction and enrollment growth.
  • Oversee the housing program to align with both student needs and university objectives.
Your profile
  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years full-time relevant work experience, preferably in student engagement, academic services, scholarship administration or related fields
  • Experience in higher education, student affairs and career services
  • Strong organizational skills, proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and multitask
  • Effective planning and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German (optional)
  • IT affinity and excellent knowledge of MS office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Valid work permit in Austria

Further information
We offer an unlimited term employment contract, subject to mutual satisfaction of the parties. The position can be filled from February 1, 2024.
